I think they lost that case on "trademark".......i wonder if thats different from "copyright" of body shape that they won this case on.....pluss the guy here was small fry probably didnt have the funds of Sir Jim

As far as im aware there is an appeal......im assuming that an EU ruleing isnt legal in the UK :shrug: ....my understanding at the moment is that self builders who are not in business to sell on are ok.......but who knows. ...also JLR won this case on "body shape" so how much do you need to be diffe...

Its not just the rear lights the 1.5 has a very different rear recessed numberplate area as per the S1

Hi Bill...yes of course you are correct and some manufacturers/suppliers are improveing quality.....but im affraid its never going to happen that every part will be as original or a perfect fit......so owners will have to resort to hunting out original parts or finding people like yourself that make...

Hi Paul....very much depends what you want it for....as its a US product it would be worth you asking the guys on Jaglovers....if its good for an E type im sure someone will have one....looks like the cross brace front and rear lifts a its raise so will be in the way for quite a few jobs and the lif...
