Re: Foam deadening
I m close to buy the same product for both the sills ( 2 or 3mm) and under the carpet (10mm) from my S3 FHC. I found several suppliers here in France. You should be able to find the same kind in UK. Vinyl length
I'm close to buy the vinyl to retrim the interior of the body from my S3.
Can someone let me know the length to purchase considering a material width of 120mm.
I do not rework the seats.

Re: S3 Rev counter
I've done a test and I confirm that the signal I was talking about allows the rev counter to run. However, because it comes from one half V12, it counts only half of the turns! There is one wire coming from the second amplifier. I do have to use the 2 signals. How can I do that ? Do I've simply to u...

S3 Rev counter
Hi,
I've an XJS engine with the Marelli ignition.
The signal coming from one of the amplifier goes through a 6.8Kohm to the XJS counter.
Can I plug directly this signal without any resistor to the input from the S3 Rev counter ?
Thanks for your return

Re: V12 ECU
Not one but 2 problems on the fans. Bad contact into the connector from the Otter switch and a grilled ground cable connected to the relay. Yesterday afternoon I ve done ~1km on the road. All sounds good. A few meters on the 5th. https://youtu.be/_kn9hV8CU5I https://youtu.be/oL3UIERpyRY Next step is...

With the fact that nothing seems to happen with the vacuum applied manally, I'm looking now for a new Marelli ignition ECU.
Hope to find one soon.

Re: V12 ECU
On your question : "One last question: When the engine runs, can you hear the injectors clicking? (mechanic's stethoscope or long screwdriver or wooden dowl)" Yes, I've tried with a wooden dowl and I've been able to hear the several clicks done on each injectors. As I do have a second set of 12 inje...
