Hi,
adding a fuse sounds a good improvment to protect the wiring loom to fuse itself.
What about incorporating an inertia switch? It is an impact switch which would turn the pump off in the event you had an accident ...

Re: WANTED: S3 Km/h Speedo (swop for MPH?)

Hi Philip Fyi there is the solution to use a label covering all the Mph indication on the speedo face. https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tachoscheibe-Smiths-Jaguar-E-Type-S-Type-MARK-ll-140-Mph-zu-Kmh-Tacho-Speedo-US-/171956723347?hash=item28096b5e93%3Ag%3A4CEAAOSwJb5ZqqkM&_trkparms=pageci%253A0ef7bd27-9789-...

Thank you Marek.
Does your S3 has a US equipement ?
If it is not the case where have you plugged the hose coming from the boot(C38511) ?

Petrol vent pipes

My car does not com from the US. Anyway, I'm surprise because there is not vent pipe (C34369) coming from the tank until a sort of extractor. Is it normal ? Is there fuel smell to extract in the US/Canada cars only and not in Europe ones ? :banghead: https://s1.postimg.org/nj4zoq11r/Vent_pipe.png

Re: S3 with 2.88 diff

Hi, If it helps I'm running 215/65 R15 tyres all round & these appear to be a good alternative. The thing to be very careful of is to ensure you get 'V Rated' Tyres as there are very few 205/70 R15 tyres that comply with this as many were produced suitable for vans? Whilst I don't have a desire to ...

girling torque

Hi all
I working on the front calipers from my S3.
They have been replated and new pistons+seals are going to be used.
Does someone knows the torque to be applied on the 4 screws used to joint the 2 1/2 calipers together ?
Thank you for your help.
