For those who talk about Getrag, it could be great to precise if it is a /5 or /6.
Simon, based on your pictures yours is a 265/6. This means that the 5th is an overdrive gear with 0.81.
The sport version of this gearbox ha a ratio = 1 for the 5th.
You use what ?

I'm currently work on my S3 and I've found a Getrag 5 gears for.
I'm wondering if the 4 gears Getrag 262 can be of any news for those who wants to keep 4 gears. These kind of gearbox are easy to find, cheep and are also able to transfer large power engine.

Hi all, I've put an add because I'm looking for a front wishbone But I've not got any feedback. I hope to have one in the topic dedicated to the S3 I'm looking for a upper right front wishbone to continue the restoration of my S3. When you see the left side of the car, it seems not too bad. But when you discover the right side it is terrible. I've the same reaction than you. Hope people who were in are in good condition.

Haven't you think to place an EFI v12 instead of the 4 carbs bringing a few more horsepower as well as an easier driving and a lower fuel consumption?

I've sent an email to CMC to ask them about the S3. But no answer.

I've found a windscreen with an interesting price in Birmingham.
I live in France....
I'm looking for someone who could pick it up there and transfer it to London where I know someone who come regularly in France.

I'm not in a hurry.

I'll ask : do these issues affect the 2+2 body windscreens or not because if I'm not wrong the 2+2 body from the S2 is the same than the S3.
Correct me if I' m wrong.
So is there soemone with a bad experience on a 2+2?
