The highest I've seen the oil temp after some fast motorway use on a hot day is 80 degrees . Normal driving is 50 . I do have an oil cooler . I'm thinking about moving the temp sender to the sump plus

Hi all ,This was on my E when I 1st got it , my E is a very early ( November the 3rd 64) 4.2 So I then fitted the more usual 4.2 syncro knob , the R is in the right place for the syncro 4.2 box . I've changed mine permantly to wet gauge , when you start the car 1st thing after a couple of days or more , the oil pressure gauge comes up as it does in the engine . And none of that waiting with the will it or WONT IT feeling

Gone for a set of federal white light look Before https://i.postimg.cc/JhRvSnVj/20200623-185156.jpg And with the white lenses fitted https://i.postimg.cc/QdcZRwBZ/20200623-190821.jpg And I fitted some led Amber lamps at the same time . Bit pleased with look , it's cleaned the front end nicely :bigrin:

Front bumpers with no over riders

Hi all , someone on here recently has fitted / fabricated some front bumpers with out the over riders and hooked them back into the mouth , anyone remember who's page or where it is on here I've had a little scout around restorations but can't find it , .

Hi all , anyone fitted a Quick shift to the gearstick on a T5 . If so how does it feel ?
, I have heard in the past that fitting a QS to a T5 can make it very notchy .

I did this experiment a few years back when I found out I managed to buy the last length of gates 10mm in tank submerged fuel hose in the country , I had enough for what I needed , just , but decided to see what new fuet would do , so in an old metal oil can I left 3 lengths of hose , one just a bit...

Just a thought . I know it's not the right thing to do at the moment , take our E Types out for a self isolating drive , and I totally agree with this !
