Re: Federal spinners + adaptor + lead mallet
Ross, I have one of the adapters you mentioned and find that sometimes I need to stand on the end of the breaker bar if the spinners have tightened up in use. Also you can sometimes find a jack under the breaker bar with the weight of the car against it will start loosening the spinner. It is easy t...

Welcome to the forum, the best place for all things E Type. It is not the E Type Club’s forum, though we have an association via their banner up top. When you’re ready to ask questions you’ll get a lot of friendly help and advice on here. But to make things easier, please click on your user name, to...
Re: Hi
Armand, welcome to the best place for all things E Type. As you’ve been guilty  of appreciating the help of the forum, perhaps it’s time to share with us? How about photos of the lightweight E? And tell us more about the car. Do you race it yourself or do you maintain it for an owner who has t...

Re: "A" Post seal retainers
Will these help? https://i.imgur.com/707EoLC.jpg https://i.imgur.com/GTy0nrX.jpg I’d suggest painting them body coloured as you can see the edges which are not covered by the rubber. And about 15mm from the wing to the aft edge, but not an exact figure all the way from top to bottom. Certainly not a...

Re: How to secure sill to sill closing panel?
Philippe, Sika 4720 is an appropriate adhesive for those panels, you will need a compressed air sealant gun to properly apply it.

Re: All Jaguar models manuals
David, clicked on the download button and got the rather large zip file which now opens to give what looks like a very comprehensive set of everything for all the models. I've not checked out all but picking a few cars the maintenance manuals can be opened, as can the parts catalogues. Well done and...

Re: All Jaguar models manuals
David and Andrew, thank you both. It is proving to be very popular as clicking on the links now gets a comment that it is temporarily disabled as it has been shared or downloaded too many times. I had followed your link, David, and that's where it showed as free for 30 days then a monthly or annual ...

Re: All Jaguar models manuals
Andrew did warn that this would probably only run on Windows and on my Apple Mac the index.exe will not run as it says "Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on macOS". Ah well. And a dropbox account comes with a £95.98 yearly fee. But thank you Andrew for sharing this with the forum :sal...

Mike, an inexpensive digital camera really is worth buying to both keep records for yourself and to post photos for others to help you.
Posting images is easy, too. Have a look here:

Re: wire motor wires (again) simple question. 67 1.5
Steve, yes it would help if the problem was better described. There are very good colour diagrams in the technical knowledge section that will help to identify which wires should go where. Also new sets of wiring are available and could be the best way to solve a problem of a car changed from one si...

George, searching for him I’ve found that Chris is an experienced leather worker, bespoke leather goods and repairs, with a Facebook page. If you search for him there you may find that could be a way of contacting him. This looks like a page for him also: https://different-by-design.sumupstore.com/c...

Craig, if you look at your user name top right (below the e-type club emblem) there is a down arrow. Click on there and you'll find you can go into your signature area. You can then add details of name, car type, etc.
