Coppa slip in my opinion is ok.....on the thread and splines....its not reccomended on the taper mating surface of the wheel and hub........this is becaus grit/dirt can easily get on a greased surface and prevent a perfect wheel to hub mate.......personaly i very lightly copa slip but before fitting...

Hi Tim..you do realise that when checking tdc on the piston tops that as you turn the crank the piston rises up gets to the top and than stops.. as you continue turning the crank then starts to go down....at the crank pointer tdc is the mid position between when the piston stops and when it starts t...

Hi Mike......use a desk fan to blow air under the car......if its condensation it wont form on a surface with air blowing over it........I keep a fan switched on the garage floor to give an air flow through the winter......Steve

Hi Simon the fuel in the float bowl isnt shutting the pump off.... either a sticky needle valve or possibly a leaky float thats sinking a bit....or float gap setting isnt quite correct... Steve

Hi Tim... just to add.....a lot of what's available are metric...so beware that you need to calculate to thou inch if measuring wheel bearings etc...Steve

Hi Tim..the cheap ones are OK as an indicator for your tdc as you dont have the head on and can measure straight on the piston tops..also suitable for front/rear wheel bearing.....were not talking high precision here...Steve
