Hi, found that Dorking Tyres have the right centres to balance wheels correctly. Do ask if you're getting wheels balanced as most places have no idea how to do the job on wire wheels!!

The PL700s are the original lights for the 3.8s,i got an original pair of e bay.The bullbs can be up rated with halogen bulbs, but have to be the right length,i think paul goff sells them.If you use the three pin conector from the sealed beams use a p45 type base for the bulb hope this helps.

Yes i have placed new glass on top of old glass thats how i know its nothing like the original it just no where close to the right size.glass is just the wrong size, thats the reason hutsons had some made.

Hi Chris,just about to do this job.Mine was bent, but using a vice with some wood to protect frame bent it back to shape.I layed it on kitchen work surface at different times to see where it needed to be bent,didnt tell the wife.Hope this helps.

Hi, i just stripped door down to replace scratched glass, on removing chrome frame it has a slight kink on the b post side, level with door top, is this correct? Or has someone bent it to make it fit better?

Hi just found where i bought mine from. Thames valley repairs limited Tel 01628 781717 saw them in jaguar world.Perfect fit used self tappers instead of pop rivets easier to remove should you want to.

Hi What do you use.In the past i have allways used nitromors but due to eu regs new nitromors dosent work at all. It even states in small print not suitable on car paint.Has anyone used POR 15 stripper.
