Hi 2500 miles is the recomended oil and filter change which is about a years motoring for me. I change at the end of driving season so no combustion contaminents and acids sit in the engine over winter.I think 20/50 is a direct replacement for 40w.Fresh engine oil regulary is much cheaper than an en...

What engine oil is the most popular choice.
Hi all
I have always used Duckhams Q20/50, which gave good oil pressure. Now no longer made, so need some advice on which is the best choice. Penright HPR30, Millers Classic 20/50, or Castrol XL 20/50. Thanks for any advice. Adam

refinishing wood on steering wheel
Hi, can anyone tell me the best way to refinish the wood on my steering wheel? Mine has just started to wear thin in a couple of places.
Also, what is the right colour? I have seen various colours from the natural wood, oak to almost mahogany.
Any info would be helpful thanks!

Hi, someone gave me some great advise about e types, get yourself an unmodded car. Drive for a year then deicide if needs anything changing. For me i like the feel of the way the car connects when driven hard, feeding back through its delicate thin steering wheel. I think some of the blame for peopl...

Hi, I own a 3.8 not a flat floor, but one with footwells and dished bulkhead to allow more legroom. The only upgrades it has are coopercraft front brakes but still with bellows servo and a 123 distributor. The 3.8 to me is the purest looking of all the e types. The alloy dashboard and toggle switche...
