This is a very good question.
I also noticed having red paint under the actual bronze on some places of my car... But it's 100% sure that the car wasn't paint in red during its life.

CTDavies, I have exactly the same as yours.
It's foam, wrapped in a black piece of plastic paper or vinyl.

Strange... the color is not even the original one. Don't really understand what makes this car so expensive.

I have the same problem here. I know that Angloparts have the center radio panel.
Concerning the bracket that fix the ignition switch to the direction column, I'm still looking for it.

The blue is quite a tricky color for cars, because it will change a lot depending on the global illumination. A dark blue will looks completely black with low luminosity, and will become brighter and much more saturated with a good level of light. Then, it's a matter of taste. I personally prefer da...

Imperial measurements

Guys, I don't really know if this concern must be under the "technical" category, as it is more a general matter. Please move my thread if needed. I ordered several times nuts and bolts from Namrick (which are very helpful). Unfortunately, the received parts are not always the same dimensions than m...

Hey,
I have the same issue with my front suspensions... Don't know if it's due to the coat of zinc which reduce the gap where the circlip goes, but I'm unable to place the circlip. Maybe a thinner one would do the job. Where did you found them Michel?

I bought my car without having seen it. I'll never do it again. It was really close to an original s1.5 on pictures, but when it arrived here in CH, many things was hidden.

If your seller is not able to confirm if the engine is a matching number one, its not a good sign.

Francis,

If you need anything to clean the vinyl, try those guys: restom.ch. They ship all over CH in one day, and their products are fantastic! I used a vinyl cleaner for my dashboard and it now looks like new (I had dust in the grain).

His question is interesting. Is it possible to remove the head nuts without having to flush or change the gasket?
Instinctively I would flush before removing the nuts. I mean, even if the gasket is still in place, will it retain the coolant if the nuts are not "pressing" the two pieces together?

Prefer the body color two. Especially because black and red is not a nice duo.

I love this color, especially on the S2. It's less common than red, green or grey, but it really gives a vintage look that hides all the character of this wild cat.
Much nicer in real than on pictures.

It's brand new and probably need adjustments... No need to be so rude, they will probably try to find a solution. I made several orders without any problem to be honest.
