Xk's Unlimited , in California a great source also. Little tip....when your installing new hoses, place a little Vaseline around the inside of the hose, right around both ends. Adds a bit of life to the hose, and of course, slides on just a bit easier.

I believe mounting the bowl in a position away from that kind of heat would be prudent also !

Mr.Jones is correct....ITG can set you up. As for the fuel filter, yes...very strange place. I would remove, and if it were me, I would mount some place visible, or at least in the trunk, as I did, where it can be examined without to much fuss.. Fabricate a small piece of any metal, and simply cover...

Just beautiful !! Great find !! I would go the way of the wrap around foam....several companies will make you one, if you give them the dimensions..They might have something in stock. Might even ask previous owner what he did. Easy to clean. You will notice a slight bump in performance, and the soun...

Adrian mentions some important points. I also have the SNG ignition....never a problem, and they are there for advice, and replacement parts. I also changed to a 5 speed box (was a 4 speed) from the Driven Man, in Tenn.,USA. Transforms the cars. Adrian's mileage numbers about the same as mine. Best ...

Curtis: Looks like you have a complete list, I did all that 42 years ago on my 73, and has run perfect ever since. Your on the right track. Don't forget to give some thought on getting rid of those oversize ugly black bumpers. Covered here on this forum. Good luck !

I have always found what I need at the local, well stocked hardware store. It should not be a tough item to get your hands on.

You guys on the other side of the Pond are lucky. Less and less good chrome shops in the USA. EPA and the price of real estate doing a big number on old shops. If anybody knows of a reputable shop in this country, I would be much oblige . Thanks !

Educate me here gentlemen. Why would you even undertake a restoration on this poor old girl ? Parts car? But for over $40000 ? Seems to me, that if this hulk was gifted to someone, would in not take more in capital, and time, and labor, then this car will ever be worth ? Well best wishes, and lots o...

Hi Frank: I use an extra disposable in-line filter in the back also. The clear plastic Fram G-3 works great. Easy to keep an eye on things, and usually available for less then $3.00

FYI: The Jag is in the MOMA warehouse in Astoria, as are other artifacts that are often rotated in and out of display from the midtown location. In fact, anyone can make arrangements to visit the Jag, when they are in NYC. Any other statement of mis-facts you wish to share ??

Re: Fuel Hose C38514 Replacement
Of course I'm in the US, but over here, any car parts store, speed shop, or auto supply in general should carry a selection of hoses. Bring it into one.....I'm sure they can match it.. Nothing exotic.
