Hmmm, not sure the bits I’ve got would amount to much Richard but you’re more than welcome to pop round and scrape off the scraps!

Re: EZ STEERING GTJOEY ITS A NEW WORLD!
Thanks for your kind words guys. I'm fine and the car is going to be fine albeit loads of work. Anyone have any recommendations as to who I can get to do the work?

Re: EZ STEERING GTJOEY ITS A NEW WORLD!
Good point about the Tyre Pressures, I am running at 38 PSI. Bit of a downer today, driving back from Norwich at midnight last night and hit a deer in the E Type. It was dead already but laid out in the road. I didn't even brake (70 mph) which probably saved the bonnet. Written off the exhaust, bonn...

Re: EZ STEERING GTJOEY ITS A NEW WORLD!
Finally got round to fitting the kit and test driving. Here are my thoughts. Firstly, I come from the camp of you don't need power steering provided the car is set up properly and you are running 185 tyres. Its a bit of a shove when parking but not overly so. Its only because we get asked to fit it ...

I use a Tom Tom Sat Nav with built in Camera. Works OK with decent picture quality.

Re: EZ STEERING GTJOEY ITS A NEW WORLD!
Just back from a Continental trip and covered over 800miles in 4 days. No power steering. This week the EZ kit we ordered prior to going was waiting for us. Going to fit it over the next few days to evaluate. As previously stated, no issues with non power steering with 185s fitted just getting heavi...

Yes you can. We do it all the time. Just make sure you plug the end of of the master when you have removed the piston otherwise brake fluid will escape.

Re: e type wiper motor upgrade?
The wipers do work if the correct type is fitted. Originally they were 'panoramic' blades which followed the curvature of the screen. The blades we seem to buy nowadays are too straight. We change the rubber with softer blades (normally a Halfords refill) which helps.

Having spent more than one night with him in his leather shorts and burping (in tune) all night to ‘she’ll be coming round the mountain’ I can assure you, Simon, it isn’t.

Re: Seat Belts
The OP is referring to an OTS. Best place to mount the reels is in the boot, cut a slot for the webbing to come through via a chrome escutcheon. Tidies it up and doesn't foul the hood when folded down.

Re: Automatic transmission problem
It could have been low fluid level (bearing in mind you have an oil leak).
Re: New Parts
I used them once.
Re: Cosmetics
We always blast and wet paint the torsio bars. Regarding powder coating peeling, ours is always primed first so any chips stay as chips. I’ve only seen it peel when the colour is applied over the bare metal.

Re: Door water deflectors
Hi Lee, only the clips for the nylon plugs are wire. I think they grip better inside the plug.

Re: Door water deflectors
Don’t forget the nylon receivers in the bottom row of door card clips. Also, the lower clips are different to the others (made from wire)
