Hi Phil...are you really sure your torsion bars are no good.......there are plenty of E types out there with your type of milage and original torsion bars with good ride height.......Why not just set the correct ride height then monitor over the summer and see if it drops.....It probably takes less ...

Hi Phil....yes they can be set/adjusted independantly..the procedure is in the service manual..its not complicated and you will need to make up setting links......as you suspension has been overhalled recently there should be no siezed parts so making it even easier.....go with what you have.....you...

Hi....full details and diagrams in the Carb section of the service manual.....look at your carbs there are rods connecting all 3...the top ones are for the throttle..underneath is anorter set connectin all 3 and operate the choke lever....you should see the operating cable comming through the bulkhe...

Hi Bill..thats a great tool but unfotunatly must of us diy guys dont have the facility to make one so pressing the shaft while supporting the hub carrier is something we have to resort to.....most times you will seperate the splined yoke but there is always the chance of damaging the carrier....that...

Hi Christopher its just the splined yoke....not the hub.....im currently useing xj6 splined yoke on e type rear splined hub on my C type build so i know they fit just not sure they are the same part as on E type....the damage was caused by a garage trying to press out the splined shaft.....the hub c...
