There was an earlier LHD Series 3 car for sale at the NEC Classic Car Show last November. I think it was dated November 1970, being sold by a private individual, and it was sold on the Sunday. The one sold at auction last week was grey in colour.
Also Harry when at E Type UK had a RHD one for sale a number of years ago, probably mentioned on here at the time

High Peak Run 2017 A big thank you to Simon's friend Richard who organised this years High Peak run which happened today. Another particular point to check is stock availability. Quite often parts are listed as being in stock, and then found to be on back order. Sometimes back order can mean a few days, and sometimes several weeks which can be difficult.

Had an update from the JEC this afternoon, they reckon 960 cars parked on the Long Walk and an additional 240 cars for the parade parked at Frogmore, very impressive sight to see
