Hi Chris & :welcomewave: Be interested in seeing how you get on @ Spa, good to see early 3.8 cars out on the track. Yours looks to been heavily modified, it would be good to find out what has been done / updated. Details on XKE Data are here: http://www.xkedata.com/cars/detail/?car=888491 Best of lu...

Re: Wet plug fouling

Have you tried moving the plug to another cylinder to see if the problem moves with it, also you could do the same with the HT lead & cap to check first ?

That's a real shame, as the history files on all the cars you & the team have worked on make great reading and reference info for further work as needed

Re: Website Builders

I built and maintain mine using iPage. Wouldn't say they are any better or any worse than any of the others. I find it simple enough to get on with but not as many features as I would like. It looks like they may have file / capaciity limitations, therefore customer history files could be limited e...

Good call Andy and thanks for letting us know, but it needs a lot more support from everyone with a historic vehicle interest to get to government debate level by June 18 :fingerscrossed: :helpsign:

Re: Original Late E Series II refresh as it unfolds (Aug 1970 Build)

Since the car is getting restored back to a European spec vs California, I'm looking for a set of European ribbed Valve / Cam covers without the notched step to go with the triple SU's. Can't seem to locate them here. Any ideas? thx They do come up from time to time on eBay UK, thats where I got mi...

Re: Advice on removing S2 bumpers please

In the new year, I'm going to have a new reversing light upgrade which has LED stop lights also incorporated into the reversing lights. It'll have even brighter reversing lights (if that's not a contradiction in terms) and also even more super bright red LEDs mounted into the same space on top of t...

Re: Diff ratios

Yes it is possible, I got mine converted (via a transmission specialist) three months ago on my S2 XKE which had a 3.54 LSD and had it converted to a 3.07 & retained the original LSD and casings with it. Basically, it is the crown wheel & pinion that needs changing providing that you have access to ...
