Essentially you can't get what Jaguar originally used; a heat formed textured plastic.

Vinyl material is what you are left with. It's thicker so you run into problems with clearance.

I had mine done in leather and can attest to the clearance statement.

Apart from what Marek correctly points out, I would personally leave the doors off while installing the interior.

You are correct, sandblasting creates a lot of heat and can distort larger items such as bonnets, wings, door skins and so on. Dipping, stripping or soda blasting are the most common methods. I don't think so. My fan belt only squeal when I stab the accelerator, not at steady RPM, sorry no help there.

Time to fine a real mechanic

Depending on the age of the belts, they might have gone hard and every time they squeal, they’ll get more “glazed” and slippery. Mine are 9 years and 5k miles old and does the same, but it goes away immediately after start up. Maybe some friction spray, new belts, ear plugs or leave it ? Cheers .......

If I remember correctly then a spongy pedal is caused by air in the system. If you can pump the system, its caused by excessive brake pad travel. Mostly seen in drum brakes that need adjustment, but I'd expect a disc brake where the caliper isn't centered on the disc will show similar symptoms. What...

Basically, you have to take the black cover with the switches off and replace the louvers from the back.

Could be your compressor starting to seize up, causing the belt to slip. Happened to my Chevy bus. Made one hell of a noise as well.
