Trimming

Hi all
I’m getting to the point of thinking about getting my ‘62 OTS trimmed including having the soft top properly refitted and covered.
I understand that GB classic trim are known for getting a good “hood fit”?
Has anyone got any experience they could share?
Thanks

Re: P clip on vacuum tank to servo hose

Only on this forum could we all find the position of single P clip “interesting”😂

I’m not even sure that I’ve got it under the correct nut!!

Does anyone think it should go on the one above instead??

Some nerdy chap out there must know

Re: P clip on vacuum tank to servo hose

Thanks Tadek

That looks good for LHD

I reckon the RHD one goes as in my picture below
It seems to make the pipe curve correctly

Re: P clip on vacuum tank to servo hose

Yes…there are 3 p clips on LHD but the orientation is different as the vacuum has to come from the tank on the opposite side of the car! The RHD has only one P clip and I believe it helps hold the vacuum hose down against the left hand side of the master cylinder housing I’m sure someone will have a...

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a photo somewhere of where it goes but I just can’t find it!
It’s on page 117 of the spare parts catalogue
One only on RHD car

Re: Anyone refurbish a S1 OTS Wingard rearview mirror?

Yes just ease a blade between the chrome surround and the backing at the bottom edge. The tabs don’t need bending so they won’t snap off. I didn’t replace the mirror and just polished the chrome surround…slight patina but that’s fine Robbie https://i.postimg.cc/kM2S9KSM/6701-EF9-E-3345-43-C6-9-CA5-7...

I’ve done two of these myself …very easy for the amateur and great fun
The only bit I didn’t do was the diff rebuild itself which cost £700

Re: Two ear wheel spinners?

Hi Definitely get your old mashed up ones sorted …can cost a very little more than “repro” ones but they are correct, will fit and will have correct lettering(which should NOT be painted but left chrome AND the longer skinny arrow. Mine were horrible but Derby Plating did the whole job, got the smoo...
