Especially when you can only hold them through their outer sheath, whose rubber sleeve renders them mobile during machining ?! Hi Rory No consellation but having bought the "genuine Jaguar" version of the small roll bar bushes I had to then buy an 11.1mm drill by to ream each one out as they were all tight on the original 7/16 bolts...the "usual" supplier went to test both this version and the "cheap" aftermarket version an...

thanks Peter i cleaned the inside of the bell housing this evening to try and find out more and found a number of scratch/gouge marks...the most visible just around the ends of this mystery hole, which correspondent to a bend outwards of the edge of the metal when viewed externally http://i130.photo...

i took the clutch cover off this evening flywheel is original, with the same numbering as shown on the cylinder head, and with a discoloured and slightly pitted surface to both it and the pressure plate 9i hope i have that name correct) the friction plate doesn't look particularly worn, with around ...

Fantastic find Richard...I have grown to like this pale golden sand more and more...Ian's restored car and the one over on the E Type club stand at Bicester were both stunning....hope you might be able to save the interior...you can't buy patina...!

Hi guys One side done..the outer 4 were the first 4 and they were more tricky..inner 4 much easier..although by then I was belting the socket with much more confidence ..!..angle grinder cutter also has come in useful I should say So far 3 different styles of circlips...😎 Will post pictures of the c...

Good to know it's OK to push them inwards.....Brute force with a socket and a lump hammer has shifted 3 of the cups slightly, so at least the principle seems to work...garage floor is taking a pounding and showing the marks too..😊...have left them with some penetrating oil overnight...lets see what ...
