Re: How to remove the board behind backseats?

Hi Steve, thanks for your answer. I'll have a look in the knowledge base section - thanks for that. Currently i can lift the panel from the trunk site - about 1-2cm. But it still holds on the site of the seats and i've now idea how it is fixed on that site. I don't want to pull it out and use raw vi...

Re: Lost / Homeless cables behind the dashboard

Hello Marc,

thanks for your great explanation. Did you mix red brown and red blue in your last comment? Currently it still does nothing in pos. 3 all cables are exactly like you said. I need to measure the switch itself tomorow.

Re: direction indicator: left one does not blink

Sorry to reply so late. I was on holiday.

Thanks Mark and thanks Sven. It was exactly as you said. I removed the whole light polished the connections a bit. Now it's working again. Let's see how long this last.

By the way where to get some new screws for the lightcase?

Thanks!

Re: direction indicator: left one does not blink

I did not know if it was every working. I have the car only one week ;-) I would say yes it was working. But i'm not sure.

I wanted to check all cables but the left behind ones are behind the tank? Do i really have to remove the whole tank to check the cables of the left behind indicator?

Re: Lost / Homeless cables behind the dashboard

I swapped the cables on the light resistors but still only two states are working. Can somebody please tell me what the original 3 states of the switch should do?

Re: direction indicator: left one does not blink

OK some news. I found out that the left behind indicator does not flash at all - even not for hazard warning. So i swapped the light bulb from left behind and right behind but still the same. I took my multimeter and measured continuous 0V - +12V on the left behind one? How could this be? Still "bad...

Re: Lost / Homeless cables behind the dashboard

Thanks mark10337 . Some news. 1.) The instruments lights are working again! Hurray. I swapped two red white cables so they're all connected now. Still short but ok. But the switch for the instrument lights has three states. The instruments only light up on the in the 2nd position. The panel light re...

Re: Lost / Homeless cables behind the dashboard

Thanks again. Everything looks exactly like on your picture. That also tells me that the loose lilac cable is definitely for the old kienzle clock. The panel light resistor has only one red brown cable. So the red white is "missing" but the loose red white cable which you can see on the first pictur...
