Re: Adhesive number plate

There exists a note of how far up from the air intake the plate should sit. You might want to check for that measurement before fixing it in place. I couldn‘t pull it up just now. If I find it I‘ll post it.

BBC on Classic Car Industry

Just came across a BBC article on classic car business. Might be of interest for one or the other:

Re: SNG Barratt User Group

What a great plan for initiating such a group. A shame some some have nothing more positive to share. Whilst some are willing to add time and effort to better things, would others not so inclined just refrain from bashing in this thread especially and the forum in general.

Re: Speed limit Autobahn

Today I read 7640 km of the Autobahn have a speed limit, 18150 km do not. Surely feels the other way around, here in southern Germany.

Re: Buying MWS wheels

Carsten if you call up TUV Sued, Mr. Gerst, they‘ll send off a Datenblatt in the mail. IIRC about 120€. They will need your car number. They have all kinds of Automobilia they access to compile the details. I understand the data in their document is binding for all TUV‘s. I had a problem with that i...

Re: Buying MWS wheels

Carsten, here an excerpt of my Datenblatt showing tyre dimensions demanded, with wheels being either steel or spokes, 6x15. They show an alternate tyre size 205/70R15 78V, these will be checked for free spinning, also in reverse. They did check my my tires, I have Michelin XVS. I believe my rims to ...

Speed limit Autobahn

Media buzz is more persistant than in the past regarding a general speed limit on the Autobahn. Today only a fraction of the stretches remain without a limit, these might soon be doomed. Increasing pressure from enviromentalists, backed by questionable EU pollutant limits, gives the discussion a bro...

Re: Buying MWS wheels

Carsten, in preparation for Tuev, have you aquired a Datenblatt yet? They definitely have a say on the tyre dimension, they may decide to put on a dimension for the wheels as well. What I want to say is up front I would talk the wheel set through with your local Tuev-Ingenieur doing the road test, a...

Patrick,

you might want to reconsider having your address public. You can edit your post, and give the address as a private message if the need arises.
