Air duct lower panel assembly bd35655
I am about to start to paint my bonnet but I am unsure I have the correct air duct panel. All the suppliers list the panel for the Series 1 but the series 2 has a different part number. Can anyone supply a pic. of a series 2 panel or confirm if it the same as series 1?

bd20092/2 cheese head screw
BD20092/2 is listed in the Series2 parts manual as "cheese head screw securing mounting brackets (hardtop) to shut pillars " . Barratt has these in stock but are counter sunk screws which look to be correct looking at the images on the Series 1 pages for originality. Is this a mistake in the parts b...

Bonnet catch
I am in the process of fitting the bonnet to my 69 roadster. I have two bonnet catches - one looks as though it could be the original ( slightly bent ) and the other a new part. They are very different - is this due to the old storey of repro parts or is the original part from an earlier model? I ha...

Hi Al, I have just ben out to examine the pedal box and I think the clip is actually inside the car to anchor the rhs wiring harness which goes to the boot. The car is an original RHD roadster but unfortunately I purchased the car when it was 60% restored so any amount of pics. would be greatly appr...

wiring clip c1040/9
I am currently restoring a Series 2 RHD)and have been replacing the wiring. There is a wiring clip C1040/9 listed in the parts book as "wiring harness clip to pedal housing rhs main harness c1040/9 , ufs119/3r, nut and shakeproof washer". This is only used on the RHD models. Does anyone know where t...

Many thanks for the reply Richard. I can get them made if I can find an original one - doesn't really matter what condition it is in.

Vents
I have several "s" type vents I can supply. If you like I will email you a photo to make sure they are the same but I have compared them with my E type series 2 vents and they are exactly the same. I am sure you would be able to source these easily in the uk from jaguar breakers ( Black Country?) Us...

Air vents - series 2
Maybe I didn't understand the first post but you can obtain original complete vents from an "s" type and 420 saloon . They all have the part numbers BD.25734 and BD 25733. I have several sets from an "s" type which are exactly the same as my Series2. Are you going to have these parts made so they do...

I have just checked the 420 parts list and the part numbers are the same as the e type. I have some "s" type ones around the place and I am sure they are the same as my Series 2.

Have you investigated the vents from an "s" type? I think they are exactly the same as the Series 2 E type.

Speedo Clip C17410
The measurements would be great. I wonder why this part has not been reproduced? Maybe a lot of cars have lost them over the years and have never been replaced. The LHD clip is actually bolted to the bell housing.
Again many thanks for your efforts.

Speedo Clip C17410
Many thanks for the pics. In Mike Cassidy's article on conversion from LHD to RHD he mentions "transferring the speedo clip" - does this mean that it is the same as the LHD clip but just mounted in a different position? Again, many thanks for the efforts made to solve what in the scheme of things on...

Speedo Clip C17410
I have been searching for the above clip which attachs to the speedo cable via a setscrew and nut. I have the following questions: 1. What does the clip look like? 2. Where does it attach to the car? 3. Can anyone supply a new or used one? This clip was only used on RHD cars and I think it was commo...
