#1 New member from Singapore

Post by twoplustwo » Tue Mar 19, 2024 2:44 am

Hi All,

I’am new on this forum and based in Singapore, I recently bought a green 1966 2+2 with my father based in the UK. The car has been sat in a garage in the UK for the last 40 years, and although the garage is dry the car has definitely seen better days.
We don’t have a huge amount of car restoration knowledge so we’ll no doubt be needing a lot of help and many question along the way.

Many thanks in advance!

Matt

Welcome to the forum!

I was actually wondering if you have an idea how many e-types are there in Singapore? :-)

With the tax/permit for the parking space, it must be quite a challenge to have one there..

Thanks all for the replies, pretty much confirms my worst suspicions. I'll start preparing for open wallet surgery!

The car in the picture is located in the UK with my father, but regarding E-Types in Singapore I'm not too sure, I would guess only a handful with the import and COE tax. I had a quick look on the local equivalent of auto trader and the prices are sky high. https://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/lis ... uar&RPG=20

Hello, what do you want to restore in your car? Can you tell me in detail?

Your first post on the forum should be an introduction ...are you a spammer?
