#1 Finally got one!!

Post by TheDampMan » Sat Jan 20, 2018 4:34 pm

Hello all, after many years of wanting an E Type but always finding reasons not to buy one I have finally taken the plunge with a 1974 V12 2+2 in old English white arrived last weekend in pretty good condition, drives great but only starts up when it feels like!
Sure I will be seeking lots of advice.

Well done - starting issues?

Ballast resistor once caused me a lot of issues on a triumph spitfire as its in the wiring loom.

The actual moment when you take ownership of an e-type is a very special moment which I will never believe has actually happened ! Then you look in the garage the next morning and ..its still there !
