#1 Newbee ( hopefully )

Post by Ikebaddog » Mon Jul 17, 2017 5:02 am

Morning, hopefully will be closing a deal on a '71 2+2 today, haven't slept peoperly from seeing it on Saturday!
The realisation of 10 year old's dream ( taken 45 years! ) the only fly in the ointment being that the car has had an engine swap, not recorded on the log book, just need to find out wether the engine fitted now is an e-type engine, then I will pull the trigger..... wish me luck!!!!

Welcome John and congratulations. There are a few of us on here with 71 S3s. Looks like quite an early car if I have read the registration correctly. If I have, is it still an auto?

You've had the mental breakdown and an E Type purchase resulted from it.

Mechanical cover is often included in your insurance.

Stuart
