#1 Quick hello from a new Member

Post by Stevesmed » Mon Dec 25, 2017 5:01 pm

Hi Just had my E type (1967 2+2 Manual 1owner with 67000 Miles in old English white) delivered from the USA,it appears to be as discribed after many sleepless nights.
I owned a series 1.5 otr in the late eighties followed by a series 1 coupe.
E type will now join my little collection Bond Bug, MGB,TVR and replica Ferrari Dino.
I very vaguely spoke to a chap in October on a boating holiday in France ( Canal du Midi) who rekindled my E type enthusiasm.
I’m guessing about a year until the cars back on the road ,but watch this space.
Regards Steve

Welcome along. I'm sure you will get plenty of support from the very knowledgeable forum members during your rebuild. Would be great if you started a thread on it.

Hi Steve

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. This is a fabulous resource that I'm sure you will find invaluable during your restoration.

I am just down the road from you in Hill Head and whilst my E is a series 2, do let me know if you want to pop over to look at anything on the car.

Hope you enjoy working on your car as much as I have on mine.

Regards

Ian
