New member - series 3 restoration project

Hi, I am a new to the forum.

I have recently acquired a series 3 restoration project and am in search of potential restorers in the Suffolk/Norfolk area. Can anybody speak of any experience with or recommend anybody in these areas that may be able to undertake the project?

Hello Ben, welcome to the forum. Do tell us more about the car, how much of a restoration project is it? Complete £100,000 full nut and bolt or a fair amount of TLC and some mechanical and/or body work?

Is Hertfordshire too far? Angus Moss (http://www.mossjaguar.com/index.html) is in Letchworth and a good fellow. Why not at least chat to him?

I've actually picked the project up mid-way through - there's a long story behind the acquisition which I won't bore anyone with. The shell has been finished (I'll try to put a picture in below) but the mechanical parts are in need of some TLC. I'm hoping to get the car finished to be mechanically sound and nice enough looking but not to the extremes of show-winning examples.

As for Hertfordshire, it isn't far at all so I will definitely get in contact with Angus. Thanks for the recommendation.
