#1 Newbie intro

Post by GordonHam » Sun Sep 23, 2018 11:11 pm

Hi to all.
Although relatively new to this forum, I’ve had my S2 OTS since May 2014, and covered about 12k miles since I’ve taken ownership.
The car was purchased from Eagle in 2014, but has had a modest number of modifications, mainly focussed on reliability upgrades (eg electronic ingnition, new fuel, coolant and oil pumps, improved radiator and fans). Brakes, suspension, wheels, power train have been unmolested. The car had barely been driven for the 30 years prior to my purchase, so the folk at Eagle also gave the car a thorough going over before I took it on.
This year was quite a year for us, as we took three weeks to do a fairly extensive European road trip - covering 2700 miles over 10 countries. The car performed faultlessly, and its a trip we will remember for a long time.
