#1 Inlet cam for early 61 E Type

Post by Doug » Sat Dec 01, 2018 4:24 pm

I have a 61 Etype. Car number 457. I am replacing the valve springs and notice that the inlet cam has no oil ports on the lobes. The out let cam has them.
Is this normal for this early era of the 3.8 XK engine. The head colour is pumpkin orange if that helps.
Doug.
