Dear Forum

I am knew to the forum (and message boards in general so please excuse any schoolboy errors).

My E type is a 1961 FHC, an original RHD that was exported to the US in late 1962 and returned to the UK in 2001 where it was rebuilt.

I have managed to find a few of the US owners, right back to the second owner just not that elusive first owner!

Now in the a long exchange with the DVLA trying to recover the original number plate, more of a drama than I would have thought, anyone with any experience of this process?

best regards
Kevin

I'm not sure why nobody's responded to you Kevin. Have you tried looking at the Federation of Historic British Vehicle Club's website? Not sure if there's any help to be had there - just thinking aloud really.
