Hello Peter Autosparks are hard to beat on wiring looms. You should invest in a parts book - they are reprinted and very comprehensive - will answer all your questions on what goes where.

#23 Re: HI ALL,
Hi, Tadek here, where are you from? judging by the flag we must be neighbours :-)
I would suggest several resources for info:
FACTORY FIT - Series 1 4.2 section on the forum:
http://forum.etypeuk.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2007
Knowledge Base on the forum:
http://forum.etypeuk.com/viewforum.php?f=16
There you can find parts catalogues for the S1 4.2. You can also find Lucas Parts catalogues (the '66 is actually missing, but I would assume that if the motor you showed is the same for '65 and '68 then it's safe to assume it was also same for '66 :-)
Your number on the motor you showed is 75404, the '65 had the same one (disregard the letters - they were small variances)
Another very good source of photos is :
https://bringatrailer.com/jaguar/xke-series-1/
Look for original cars - quite a few very original cars have been sold in the recent year:
1E10146 OTS '65
1E10310 OTS '65
1E31252 FHC '65
1E11765 OTS '66
1E33689 FHC '67
None of them are a 2+2, but the engine bay, suspension, brakes will be mostly the same, interior slightly different.
http://www.xkedata.com/ - another good source where you can search for a specific car.
I think there are quite a few Jag XK experts in Czech Republic, they may do e-types as well.

The bottom pump is the same as my 65 FHC, so I would think that this would be the same for yours.

#25 Re: HI ALL,
The PN on the pump looks like C24429.
Looking at SNG site, it looks like a correct one.
Though my 4.2 SPC shows 2 pumps: C24454 & C25091.

#26 Re: HI ALL,
This is mine.
It looks like you have a single V pulley as far as I can see; yours I think should have a double V.
The single V was fitted to the Series Two.
This is not a big problem, I converted all mine to single V so I could fit a generic alternator and AC pump, but if you are going standard, you will have to obtain the double V pulleys.

Hi all,
Little update on the jag.
Couple of things happening.
Finally applied and received my Heritage certificate
Car comes out Opalescent Silver Grey with black interior witch i am VERY happy about. Lovely colors inside and out. Also got confirmation on the originality of gear box, engine block and chassis.
Second update is Sunroof... as i was going through the car i was able to see makers mark.
GOLDE Sunroof Company. So far i have learned that the company no longer exist. German origins. Golde sunroofs were fitted into as early Porsche,VW, BMW and the some Ford cars.. ( perhaps more not sure if i mentioned all of them ) and Looking for a parts is going to be LOTS of fun...
I have contacted via email two companies ( Bristol Sunroofs and WallothNesch )
No luck for parts there.
Anyone has any advice, experience or references ?...
I would really appreciate It.Please Please let me know,
All the best,
Petr
