#1 Hi from Italy!!!

Post by Asterix » Tue May 16, 2023 2:23 pm

Hello everyone,
1 year ago I bought my first 1961 E-type roadster because 37 years ago I saw it for the first time and I promised myself that one day I would drive it.
For now, I've done a simple car service and a complete renovation of the brakes system. The Jag goes fast and I want to stop!!!
I have some problems with the Moss but it's not its fault, I should be improving.

Thank you for accepting me.

Welcome!

Try putting Redline MTL in the Moss box. It makes a difference but does take a few hundred miles to work its magic.

Welcome always nice to see new faces join

Did you just upgrade the pads or did you upgrade the calipers and discs?

The Moss box is a real pain that is why I upgraded to a five speed but there are options to fit later series 2 full syncro boxes as well as overdrive. Would be nice to see photos of your car.

Please add your name and car model to the signature area for ease of access.

I did this one with the silver calipers, excellent braking power.
