The seam on the rear wing to sill joint would concern me. That along with the poor sill end to wheel arch joint .
The car has had new sills I think. ( no bad thing - most have)

The extra door lock mentioned is standard fit on series 1 2+2 which don’t have the key in handle set up on the SWB cars.

Hi Mike,
Has your insurer accepted an agreed value of £90k?

Way too much money to pay for this car. I would bale out now and try and get your deposit back.

I've come late to this but I agree the price is too high.

I worked for about 10 years with a company that restored E types exclusively, and superficially that car looks pretty well done to me. I agree the panel line between the wing and the sill looks wrong. The bonnet and door fit can probably be adjusted out.

Hope this worked out well. Any news after the inspection? Are you happy with the car as that is, ultimately, the most important thing.

Best wishes, Chris
