The seam on the rear wing to sill joint would concern me. That along with the poor sill end to wheel arch joint .
The car has had new sills I think. ( no bad thing - most have)
The extra door lock mentioned is standard fit on series 1 2+2 which don’t have the key in handle set up on the SWB cars.

Series 1 FHC purchased 40 years ago. Courted my wife in it.
Series 1 2+2 when the kids were small now sold.

Way too much money to pay for this car. I would bale out now and try and get your deposit back.

I've come late to this but I agree the price is too high.
I worked for about 10 years with a company that restored E types exclusively, and superficially that car looks pretty well done to me. I agree the panel line between the wing and the sill looks wrong. The bonnet and door fit can probably be adjusted out.
