#1 Introduction of Lizzy

Post by Lizzy » Tue Dec 26, 2023 12:13 pm

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen,

Thank you all for having me at this platform. As a child I was already amazed by the E-type with the “3 wipers”, not knowing why they had 3 … After years of hesitation, not knowing in what story I would adventure myself, I finally decided to give in an searched for E-type S1 OTS. I know it might sound crazy, but after looking at a few of them, I found my “Lizzy”. She actually was the first I really checked out physically and had to retain myself not to confuse hart and brains 😊 She runs fine, she is not the handsomest of the stable, but boy is she fun … (I am wondering what my wife would say if she reads this …). Cheers for having me onboard.
Kevin

Welcome to the best place for all things E Type. Please click on your user name top right then you can go into the signature area and add your name and car type . That way we can address you more politely and if you ask questions people will now just what you’ve got and how best to respond.

Tell us more about the car, where you bought it, what driving you have done and any plans for work needed. There is so much information to be found by using the search function and look in the technical knowledge section too. Have you bought the owners and maintenance manuals? If not, buy them now

Hi Geoff,

thank you for the info, I have added a signature now. I do not find though, where I can add the car I have (1966-67 OTS S1).

I have already bought a lot of manuals so I am good there :-)
se you later

Hi Kevin,

my favourite E-type, S1 OTS ! I own mine since 1987 and enjoy it every day.
Either driving the car, looking at it or just thinking about the next trip.....
Reliable and always lots of interest when it is parked somewhere

Have fun and drive it as much as possible
Ruurd
