Hello everyone, just joined and have enjoyed reading several of the posts. I live in rural Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland and have three e-types, lots of open roads and no traffic jams.

Question - The breather pipe - engine to air box - on my late S1 4.2 roadster is rusted and has deposited lots of rust into the filter canister. Not one of Jaguars finest pieces of design, but its 40 years old so I forgive them. Does anyone supply a stainless steel version, as the original seems past it?

Hello and welcome to the E-type UK forum, I'm not aware of anyone who makes one in stainless but I'm sure a good engineering firm could make one easily, alternatively just buy a standard repro and hopefully that one will last another forty years.

Thank you Harry. I'll take a look at getting one made. Paul
