Hi,
I'm Ian Blessed and I am in the process of importing a light blue series 3 from the states to UK, arrives mid June.
Not much experience with e types, the last car I had to work on was a Dolomite sprint back in the early 80s, but fancy getting my hands dirty again now the kids have fledged.
I'm sure I'll be needing lots of help, so look forward to hearing from you all soon.

Regards
Ian

Welcome Ian. Dolomite sprint to V12 E type...that is a leap. Oodles of knowledge and experience here so fear not. If you get in a fog someone will advise although probably not me as mine only has six pots. Welcome to the world of E type ownership. You won't regret it!!!

Er.. snap, sort of.

My last old car(which I'd owned for 20 years) was a Sprint.
I sold it in 2002 along with all the spares I'd accumulated to make room for the E.

snap also, well my first car was a Dolly 1850 HL in Honeysuckle, bought from Furbers scrap yard as a write off. I rebuilt it age 16, putting new flitches and front panel on, and porta powering the front chassis legs straight! anyway, sorry don't want to hijack the thread. WELCOME and lets see some photos. I love the V12 cars.
