Hi everybody
At long last I collect my long awaited series 1 2+2 in the middle of September. I'd be very keen to hear your views on security systems that you'd recommend I have fitted
Kind regards

Hi Neil.....most important thing is to ensure you have a guaranteed valuation on your insurance.....for stopping opertunists there are alarms, switches to cut of ignition/fuel pump, removable steering wheel, etc.....the professional will probably tow it away, so you could fit a tracker

Neil,
I have fitted an alarm originally designed for fitting to a motorcycle. Also, on a recent tour of the continent, I took a tracker which could be attached to any steel surface inside or outside the car. However, as already mentioned, nothing beats agreed value insurance. Or a very big dog. The former wont prevent theft, but will compensate for it. The latter will prevent any theft, but might put the interior at risk from canine teeth.
