Hi all as advised I am starting a new member topic and link.
I am currently in the process of a total rebuild of a series 3 OTR ,
Any guidance or help will be well received, particularly best places to purchase as much genuine rebuild stuff as I can .
The car is nearly totally stripped and then the rebuild.'
Current areas already in the planning with different providers are
:- engine rebuild
Raditor
Body paint ' repairs
Wheel rebuilds / renovation

I would like recommendations for
interior trim and roof
Chrome work
Suspension supplier bushes , shocks , springs
Power steering
Carb advice
Tyres
Brakes
Notes on finish for components ie paint , chrome , powder coat etc

Original and genuine is the goal if available

Regards Ian :thankyouyellow:

Hi Ian,

As I have already said welcome on another thread, I will try to answer some of your other questions.

If you are mainly talking about engine bay items then you need to keep OEM with powder coating, plating etc.
Brakes can be kept standard or upgraded depends on how original you want to be ?
Bushes I would upgrade to Poly bushes

Tyres, speak to Dougal @ Longstone Classic Tyres:

Interiors, one of the best quality / value is BAS:

As I have rebuilt an S2 I will let others advise on specific S3 items.
Enjoy the journey
