I saw this cheap VII on Monday whilst looking at Renault 4s.

It is an ex Californian Police car apparently.

Needs recommissioning big time but complete and looked rot free. Originally silver grey.

I thought it was a nice easy project.

Well, I put on my rose tinted specs and went and had another look, including underneath , and decided that if I continued looking it was much more likely that I would find a cosmetically beautiful car which was unsound underneath , than that I would find another car as apparently sound as this in the basics. So, I've bought it, and it will give me many ( I hope happy ) hours of tinkering to get it as I want it! :bigrin: :bigrin:

I was hoping that you'd pull the trigger on this deal or one very similar, Christopher, so that I could vicariously enjoy the ownership. Please post bunches of pictures, or even better, start a restoration blog even though this isn't an E Type. :thumbsup:
