Reminds me of the chap riding the jet-powered motorbike up the hill at Goodwood a couple of years ago. No shortage of power, but the throttle response was a bit 'laggy' by all accounts.....

No water pump or rad so presumably they just filled with water and ran for a minute or two until it boiled or set the bloke on fire

I recall this being a dragster. No need for cooling, the engine only runs for seconds at a time. I’d be more concerned about the lack of bottom frame tubes.
