Oh to be out of the EU now that winter’s here🤣 I suppose that’s all the French can do is fine us now! Particularly as Macron doesn’t want our vaccines, with his bogus and untruthful comments. Despite the bogus photos of empty shelves in some German newspapers, the majority over the weekend are critical of the EU on vaccines. Van Der Leyen may be out of a job soon. So glad we are out of the EU. For all you overseas members of this Forum, just remember one thing. The UK are the envy of the world for being at the forefront of the covid vaccine programme, and also the makers of the Jaguar E-type!

Sadly politics are heavily involved right now. It's clear we were quick off the mark with authorising vaccines and sad that various EU countries are making erroneous comments and political plays, when we should all be concentrating on vaccinating our citizens.

Sad news tonight that Captain Tom is in hospital with Coronavirus. I hope he recovers, he's an inspiration to all of us.

Sally - politics are not welcome on this forum - and for a first post your intervention is misguided. Frankly we are not interested what you think about brexit

It's maybe because you're no more getting the Zeiss lenses
David, if you have some bottles of French wine laying in your cellar that you would like to see crossing back the waters, I will be pleased to help :bouncyyellow:

I just paid 17 UK pounds (= taxes) for a small parcel of Hillman Imp spares which I bought within the UK for 51 UK pounds.

I got a mail from DPD stating there‘s a parcel on its way and I decide to pay or send it back, 6 methods of payment / I choose my credit card, entered the numbers, thats it, now waiting for it to arrive.

Carsten

(Decided to edit / thanks for the advice)

Carsten , with all due respect I think you need to be more careful. This is not a political bulletin board, but, the subject having been raised, feelings run high about it .I presume you have no idea of the considerable offence you are likely to be causing

Christopher, stop being a Pratt! Carsten was only telling us the problem he has had post brexit. It will all settle down, and if some of our members want to discuss this, they can always post on the pub chat section. I for one find it unnecessarily police like when a bit of banter doesn’t do anyone any harm.

Barry: You are a bit late to the party on this one. Carsten edited his post, on friendly advice, to remove any political bias that could offend some. Another post has also been edited in a different thread as it caused offence the other way. We have moved on so please follow suit.

Incidentally the 'P' should not be capitalised unless it is a surname and knowing Christopher he is most certainly not one. :policeblue:
