Not an E Type, not even a Jaguar but the same problems exist across the classic spares market.

Less than 1000 miles in service and following replacing an aftermarket fuel pump that had done less than 200 miles.

Well, what else are we going to spend it on?

I had a Sunbeam Alpine once that split a rotor in a similar fashion. Repaired it on the side of the road with a couple of zip ties, and forgot about the repair until after I had sold the car on some 2 years later. Might still be running with that repair!

Having heard many recommendations from you guys over the years to use Distributor Doctor I didn't hesitate to place my order with them.

I sent my enquiry on Wednesday evening, got my reply on Thursday morning and paid the invoice late Thursday afternoon. Imagine my surprise when the parcel arrived this morning. Brilliant!

What service! I think I'll place an order for spares for the E Type to keep in reserve for the day the inevitable happens.
