I am sure things in that sentiment will eventually come to bare in one form or another, but I suspect not too many of us will be around driving classics by then. Apologies to the younger of us.....

Whoever drafted this knows little, if anything, about the law of contract, at any rate in common law countries. An insurance contract is neither more than less than that, a contract, and its terms are settled at the date that the contract is made. Its terms do not alter as you drive along ; so , if you exceed the speed limit, the premiums do not automatically increase . Equally, if, for example , you give up driving at night, they do not automatically reduce. I have to say, that having heard the garbage contained in the first part of the video, I did not bother wasting time watching the rest of it

Insurance is a more than just a contract in English and Welsh law, it is a contract of utmost good faith - each of the parties must inform the other of everything that might materially affect the contract. This usually means the policy holder must fess up licence endorsements driving fines personal disabilities modifications to a vehicle or house or whatever is being insured etc ..... And the insurer must detail all the small print in full. Uberrimae Fidei (and I'll bury yours.... Ta dum, tish)

No problem Daryl😁
Stu , The U. S. Is in complete free fall .
It’s no bargain here either.
But last trip getting off at Heathrow , I thought the plane landed in Bangladeshi !
I’m looking around Milan to retire.
All the rest other than a villa in the south of France are gone.
Hopefully we go back to some sanity but the whole insurance scheme will never happen

. . . . a contract, and its terms are settled at the date that the contract is made.
Precisely, and if it's terms say if you do X, Y, Z whilst driving the insured vehicle it will have x, y, z effect on the premium you pay (monthly??). Who can negotiate terms with a big insurance company? Anyway, it would likely be only the big, main stream insurance companies covering Joe Blogs who would do that.

Also, when you consider that the classic car business in the UK is worth billions of £££ a year, there will be plenty of insurers wanting to tap into that market and willing to offer business to classic car owners.

So, no worries IMHO.
