Well , Geoff, I agree wholeheartedly about modern cars which are far too big and more to the point too heavy . What is salutary, however, is to put an ordinary SWB E against an XK120 -140 - 150 and discover that the E is shorter

Hi Geoff....just goes to show what a nice rear end the S2 has...the F type is far to bulky :bigrin:

Yeah, my wife has a tiny car - a Toyota Yaris. It's wider than my E Type. No wonder you can't park modern cars in the bays in a car park without door banging!

Yep - out on the road amongst modern traffic the F-type looks positively svelte. But park it against an E-type, and it's a bit of a barge......
