Awesome drive upto Blenheim

#1

Postby andrewh » Tue Jul 14, 2015 10:10 pm

I decided at the last minute to drive upto the Coys Concours event at Blenheim Palace last Saturday. How good is an E type on the road! Just fabulous. Anyway there was some impressive motor cars in the display but the E type drew more than its fair share of admirers. Everyone loves an E type.

Took mine out at the weekend and a bloke in a Nissan Cube pulled up alongside and told me "That car is absolutely beautiful mate". A Nissan Cube!! I thought to myself 'If this is your idea of a beautiful car, what the heck possessed you to buy that!?'

Lovely picture and colour tones. If it hadn't been for the lady walking past and the Coys banner in the background it would have made an excellent replacement for your avatar picture. Photoshop anyone ?

It's not an E-type, it's one of Andrew's Range Rover chassis's with a glassfiber body. We all know Landies and Range Rovers handle a 45 degree incline :D

It cant be a Landie because it has no mud on it and it didn't break down on the way to the show
