Trouble is the 3.8 used a C42 (very early 3.8s used the C45 and RB310)...advert is For a C39/40...could be made to fit but they are shorter than a C42...others will disagree but an original dynamo and working control box is quite sufficient in most circumstances here in the UK...just my view :bigrin:

Unless you’re putting aircon in etc the 3.8 is fine with a standard Dynamo
