Very kindly, I was recently shown round the workshop when I bought a steering rod from Angus (sadly while he was somewhere on the M25). Those who go are in for a treat.

I'd love to come but it is my son's birthday on the 31st (very good tax planning in bygone days!).

I have tried to persuade myself to come but (i) he does not share my enthusiasm for classic Jaguars, or indeed any Jaguar, so bringing him along is not really an option and (ii) while he would be relaxed if I disappeared for the day, his mother would part me from bits of my anatomy that I'd like to think I might have use of if I tried doing so (and I'm treading on eggshells at the moment WRT the E Type anyway).

I hope you enjoy the day. It will be worth it.
