#1 Welcome to our new Moderator

Post by Heuer » Thu Aug 24, 2017 3:46 pm

Although Steve (mgcjag) has been quietly honing his skills over the last few weeks I think it is time to let everyone know he has joined the E-Type Forum team as a Moderator. Angus (1954etype) and Mark (MarkE) continue in the role and having Steve help keep an eye on things - mostly spanner-ing Spammers - means we have fairly complete coverage to keep us on the straight and narrow.

The Forum is a very peaceful place compared to most with only the odd flare up when opinions clash (usually over tyres and wheel size  ) so I don't think Steve will be wielding the Ban-hammer to anyone other than the above mentioned miscreants. In any event please welcome him aboard and give him your support. Incidentally you will see that all Moderators have their username in green so you can easily find and contact them via PM if you need to.

Thanks for stepping up to the plate, Steve. I know that being a moderator is a huge and largely thankless task. I'm sure that I speak for many of us in saying that I don't know what I'd do without the forum.

I'm not sure about this, when I noticed his green username a few weeks ago, I sent my congratulations and thanks via a pm. He's now said he's keeping his beady eye on me. Will the new boy be more strict than the headmaster?

Thanks Steve for all the help you give us. :salute:
