Finally received my copy of the glossy new Haddock and Mueller Originality Guide. It is beautiful, which is a feature that gives as much joy as the knowledge it contains.
The editing does unfortunately leave a bit to be desired. I'm reading it line by line, have hardly got into the full meat, and have already encountered several typos, obviously unintended concord errors, missing prepositions and the like - all of which are relatively simple editing glitches. The more beautiful a book, the more this type of thing is a pity. I get the sense there was a last minute deadline rush...
I must stress that this is, however, a pleasure to own and to read.
