There has recently been a Facebook group (and website) created for the specific documentation of the 3.8 RHD FHCs, supposedly in more detail and with more stories behind each car, and indeed there have been some nice stories and photos. The chap running the site (Gary Oxley) has clearly put a lot of time and effort into it.
Am I missing something here, or can't that detail go on to XKEdata? I have actually just submitted an update for Richard's 860927 with a load of pictures now it's on the road, as well as any important information regarding history, and reference to things of interest (e.g. "Article in Club magazine #XX") - is the information on the web just being diluted? It does seem a tad niche?

(You have to sign up for the website I think, which I haven't done so far)

I concur with your thoughts. He's now produced a copyright version of colour/year data which looks familiar to me (can't think from where though). Link here...

I hope he doesn't think he can claim copyright for the information - and the chart might be more helpful if the colours - particularly the solid colours - were anything like the real thing

Not just that.......I spotted my ex-Series 1 Car chassis 709, reg 801 DBU and Gary had put a copyright C on all the picS! He can’t do that! To do that he needs to be either the author, or to have an agreement with the author or to have purchased the copyright from the author.
